Post-Preliminary Presentation Update
Thursday's presentation went well. It was helpful to hear that my inquiry had potential and I was directed to select a case-study and just "observe". However, I am having trouble finding a "case-study" or area that best reflects my inquiry.
"How can the biophilic design in urban places, specifically water and plants, increase playful behavior between adults and the outdoor built environment?"
Most of the readings I have been over involving ludic urban interventions pertain to temporary art pieces or architectural features. I am wondering if I need to classify possibly what types of play I am looking for and then select a general area and observe what I have classified?
Very, very short blog. I just can't seem to land where I should perform my research.

Hi Avery. I would recommend beginning your reimagining by deleting the phrase "how can." Instead, simply ask "Do plants and water change the adults' interactions with urban park settings?" This would allow you to complete observations of interactions in urban settings with different features (hardscape, plantscape, water, interactive features) and draw a conclusion from those observations. I hope this helps.
